Dear Parents and Carers,
I can hardly believe that we are at the end of the penultimate half term of the academic year. This half term has flown by and has been a really busy one! We hope that you all have a restful half term and look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on the 2nd June.
Year 1 had an exciting visit to Sayers Croft on Tuesday as part of their learning in Geography about Animals and their habitats, as well as learning in science about plants.

We also welcomed Julie Oldroyd, from the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton to our school. Julie was very interested to hear about the project the Faith in Action team are working on for our Parish! More news about this soon.
On Wednesday, Year 3 ventured off to Butser Farm to enhance their history learning about the Stone Age, the Bronze and the Iron Age. The member of staff from Butser Farm that led the visit said that he would welcome back the group any time as the children were such a delight! Thank you to Year 3 for being great ambassadors for our school.

Enjoy the half term,
Mrs. Amy O’Donovan

Last week, Jesus shared his new commandment with the disciples in John’s Gospel, at the end of the Last Supper. This is such an important Gospel as it underpins the way we live as Christians. We need to love one another (not just the people who are easy to love) and see the presence of God in one another. How do you share your love with your neighbours?
