Enrichment
At St Cuthbert Mayne, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our enrichment opportunities are designed to broaden horizons, spark curiosity and create memorable experiences that help every child discover their interests, talents and potential.
Throughout their time with us, children enjoy a rich range of experiences including visits, visitors, practical activities, opportunities to explore the arts, sport and the natural world, experiences within our local community and activities that deepen their understanding of faith. Our curriculum already includes opportunities such as visits to our church, places of worship in Cranleigh, the local library and fire station, cultural celebrations, environmental projects, visiting workshops and school trips. Older pupils also benefit from wider opportunities such as the Year 5 Tudor Experience Day and Year 6 Residential.
Enrichment is an important part of how we bring our mission, “Everyone Belonging, Aiming High, Growing in Faith,” to life. We want every child to feel included, develop confidence, try something new and make connections between their learning and the wider world.
Above all, we want our children to leave St Cuthbert Mayne with happy memories, wider experiences and the confidence to embrace the opportunities that lie ahead.
