Intent

At St Cuthbert Mayne, we aim to provide a high-quality PSHE curriculum that meets the DfE statutory guidance and reflects Catholic teaching, most importantly, enabling pupils to understand relationships, health, wellbeing and their God-given dignity.

Implementation

We deliver PSHE through Life to the Full Plus alongside the RSHE curriculum, the Catholic Education Service's recommended programme. The curriculum is carefully sequenced, age-appropriate and integrated within RE, RSHE and Science. Parents are consulted and supported as key partners in their children's learning.

Impact

Pupils develop a strong understanding of healthy relationships, personal wellbeing and respect for themselves and others. They can articulate Catholic values, make informed choices and demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives.
