Who are we and what do we do?
The Friends of St. Cuthbert Mayne is a group of parents who work together to organise events and activities to provide additional funds for the school. The Friends are an integal part of school life and meet several times a term to discuss ideas and plan events. It is a great way to meet people as well as having your say on how funds can be raised and spent.
Last year, 2008/09, the Friends raised, with the incredible support of the parents an exceptional £16,174. The highlights of the year were the May and Christmas school fairs, the wonderful Quiz Night and the Sponsored Bike Ride.
Funds were allocated to a number of great initiatives including:

There are lots of major retailers including Amazon, John Lewis, Boden and many, many more on this site so please come and browse and help to boost our school fundraising. Since the portal was launched over £500 has been raised for the school, so imagine how much we could raise if everyone used this site to shop.
