Homework Grids : Homework Grids for Key Stage 2

St George’s Year 3		Daily reading at home. Spellings will be given out on Thursday for a test on the following Thursday and spellings to be practised each night. During the week Topic, Science or RE work will be sent home to be returned the following week. Maths work will be sent on a Wednesday to be returned on the following Tuesday.
St Bernadette’s Year 4		Home reading and tables practise expected during the week. Spellings will be given out on a Monday for a test on the following Monday. English work will be sent home on a Monday to be returned on the following Wednesday. Maths work will be sent home on a Thursday to be returned on the following Monday
St Catherine’s Year 5		Home reading expected during the week. Spellings are collated by the children in class. These are taken from errors made in their class work. The children learn these spellings during the week for a test on Friday. Children to complete three thirty minute homework tasks per week including Maths, English, Science and Topic work.
St Teresa’s Year 6		Ten minutes daily reading is expected. Spelling approaches reflecting the Literacy Strategy The children learn their spellings during the week for a weekly spelling test. Children to complete thirty minutes of homework each night including Maths, English, Science, RE, Art and D.T.
